Lizzy is Junior World Champion

University of Bath-based skeleton athlete Lizzy Yarnold is the new Junior World Champion, taking gold at the Igls track in Austria. Yarnold won the junior title yesterday (Thursday), a week after winning gold at the World Cup at St Moritz in Switzerland. Team Bath judo players collected three titles at the British Closed Championships at Sheffield at the weekend. Jan Gosiewski and Tom Reed both impressed in taking gold medals in the senior competition at under-73kg and under-81kg respectively.  Gosiewski is a University of Bath Mechanical Engineering graduate and Reed is a Business Administration graduate.
