Fell achieves silver success in Beijing

Team GB's Heather Fell made sure of continuing the nation's outstanding Olympic track record in modern pentathlon by winning silver today. University of Bath-based swimmer Mark Foster has been asked to beflag-bearer for Great Britain at the Opening Ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The news means that he is the second Team Bath athlete at consecutive Games to carry the honour, after Sydney 2000 silver medallist and judo player Kate Howey was bearer at Athens 2004.
