University of Bath graduate and hockey player Richard Mantell is looking forward to competing at his first Olympic Games. The 26-year-old is a member of Team GB's 16-strong squad for the Beijing2008 Games. Beijing boost for Bath-based duo

University of Bath-based sprinter Craig Pickering will contest the 100m sprint at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, it was announced today (Saturday). The University of Bath Sport and Exercise Science student had already been named in the sprint relay squad but has now been told he will also run in the 100m at his first Olympic Games. And the Marshall Milton Keynes athlete is joined in the Team GB squad by training partner Dale Garland....
