University of Bath student Jacob Paul has been selected to represent Great Britain at this month’s World Junior Championships in the USA. University of Bath-based swimmer Amelia Maughan says is excited to be selected to represent Great Britain at this summer’s Youth Olympic Games in China. The 18-year-old, who trains at British Swimming’s National Training Centre, Bath, was today (Wednesday) named in Team GB's 33-strong team for the Games. Glasgow 2014 total tops 70 athletes

Some 70 athletes with University of Bath links have now been selected to compete at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games – including 13 current students and 20 alumni. Nartey set for Glasgow 2014 following injury scare

Team Bath judo player Emmanuel Nartey has confirmed he will be in action at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, despite injuring an ankle at the African Judo Championships in Mauritius at the weekend.
