Adam Hall – Head of Judo

Date and Place of Birth: 1988, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England

Former British and English champion Adam has led the judo programme at the University of Bath since January 2020, having previously been a successful athlete and assistant coach in the elite set-up.

The 1st Dan, who fought in the under-100kg weight category, first joined the Team Bath programme in 2007 where he trained and competed alongside studying Sports Performance at the University of Bath. His international career included bronze medals at the 2015 Senior European Cup in London and at the European Open in Glasgow in both 2016 and 2018.

It was shortly after that last medal in 2018 that Adam joined the coaching team at Bath, working alongside Head Coach and mentor Juergen Klinger as assistant before taking over the reins in January 2020.
