Jonathan Robinson – Applied Sport Scientist
- Lab-based applied sport science support to all categories of athletes, sports and talent levels;
- Catering to athletes of any level wanting to improve, monitor and fine-tune their performance (predominantly, but not exclusively, endurance and team sports athletes);
- Mentoring teachers and lecturers wanting to add practical experience to their various academic courses via educational visits to the University.
Jonathan, who joined Team Bath in June 1997, has provided sport science support to a wide variety of national governing bodies including:
UK Athletics, GB Bobsleigh, GB Bob-Skeleton, Luge, GB Modern Pentathlon, GB Triathlon, GB Swimming, GB Judo, GB Cycling, GB Rowing, GB Kayak and Canoeing, GB Volleyball, GB Beach Volleyball, GB Orienteering, England Netball, GB Rhythmic Gymnastics, GB Sailing Snowboarding, GB Tennis and Paralympics GB’s Talent Transition Programme (across a range of summer and winter sports).
He has also worked with a number of professional sports clubs including:
Bath Rugby, Bristol City, Coventry City, QPR, Sunderland, Southampton Satellite Academy, Premier League Player Development Camps (all football) and also with various individuals in motor racing and motor-cross.
