I am a very experienced Personal Trainer and have been involved in the fitness industry since 1997. I joined Team Bath in December 2015 and since then have built up a large, loyal client base who value my expertise, enthusiasm and motivational ethos.
I am passionate about helping my clients achieve long lasting health and fitness improvements and body shape changes, and I treat every client as a unique individual.
Your first session always starts with a comprehensive one-to-one initial consultation with a full health and lifestyle appraisal to identify your unique fitness goals. I then design a bespoke training programme and provide continuous ongoing performance monitoring and motivational support.
I work with a wide range of clients, from experienced athletes to complete beginners. I also have specialist qualifications in GP Referral & Exercise Prescription. In this respect, I often train clients with challenging health conditions such as obesity, osteo-arthritis, ME, and depression, helping to improve their overall health with carefully selected and safe exercise programmes.
Continuous Professional Development is very important to me, ensuring that I keep on the cutting edge of new ways to train and think, which benefits my clients’ health and fitness goals. I recently gained my Practitioners Certificate in Systematic Kinesiology here in the UK and completed a course in Sweden learning techniques from Ulf Kilman, who is a highly respected and renowned Kinesiologist working both with elite athletes and everyday folk to ensure their bodies can perform at their optimum best when training, during competition and in everyday life.
These areas of study have given me a broader understanding of holistic health and wellbeing, not just from the physical fitness perspective but also the importance of mental, chemical, nutritional and environmental factors that, when properly in balance, greatly contribute to a more healthy and energetic body.
