Graduate Katherine Endacott wins gold and silver medals on athletics track at Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games
University of Bath graduate Katherine Endacott added a gold medal in the 4x100m relay to the individual 100m medal she won earlier this week at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.
The Coach Education and Sports Performance graduate led off the England quartet that took gold ahead of Ghana and India today.
Endacott, who lives in Plymouth, has also learned today that her individual 100m bronze has now been upgraded to silver following the disqualification of Nigeria’s Osayemi Oludamola. The Brit, who had originally crossed the line in fourth place, had already been upgraded to a podium place after Australia’s Sally Pearson was disqualified for a false start.
Former University of Bath student Ryan Scott also struck relay gold. Scott, who used to train at the Sports Training Village with UKA coach Malcolm Arnold, helped the England men’s 4x100m quartet to gold today.
