European stars of the future compete against young British pentathletes at University of Bath

Multi-talented young sportspeople from Hungary and Germany joined their British counterparts at the University of Bath on Sunday to compete in Pentathlon GB’s second National Youth Ranking Competition (NYRC) of the season.

The event saw 73 athletes aged 18 and under put their all-round skills to the test in the Sports Training Village fencing salle, the London 2012 Legacy Pool and on the outdoor running track and shooting range.

Myles Pillage claimed his second NYRC victory of the season in the boys’ competition, while Hungary’s Luca Barta beat Britain’s Kerenza Bryson to the girls’ honours.
