The 19-year-old midfielder, who is studying Sport & Social Sciences, will be playing in the top flight during 2017 after the Glovers clinched the championship and promotion with a 3-0 home win over Sheffield Ladies.

“I think a huge part of our success this season is down to our team spirit and our belief in our ability to achieve promotion,” said Donovan, who is supported by the Team Bath Dual Career programme for student-athletes.

“One of our great strengths has been pulling together to get the results we needed, even when facing adversity, and to be crowned as WSL 2 champions is a testament to our commitment, desire and work ethic

“Next season will be a big challenge for the club, both on and off the pitch, but everyone is aware of the progress we still need to make to establish ourselves in WSL 1 and as a result we are heading in the right direction.

“I have no doubt that, like this year, everyone will pull together and we will live up to Yeovil’s motto of ‘Achieve by Unity’.”
