The University of Bath men’s 1st XV suffered a 36-10 BUCS Super Rugby defeat to high-flying Loughborough University on Wednesday night.
A converted try from winger Dan Rowland and a penalty from Will Flinn weren’t enough to overcome an impressive Loughborough team who are pushing Hartpury for top spot in the table.
The result leaves IKON Construction-sponsored Bath mid-table on 28 points as the season draws towards the post-season playoffs.
