England Hockey call on University of Bath sporting scholars for U21 visit to Ireland
University of Bath students Peter Scott and Tim Nurse have been named in the England Hockey U21 squad for a training camp and matches in Ireland later this month.
Both Scott and Nurse, who play their club hockey for Team Bath Buccaneers, study Sports Performance and are supported by Trendell and King Sporting Scholarships respectively.
Scott has plenty of experience with the U21s and has also represented England at senior level. Nurse represented Great Britain at U21 level at the Sultan of Johor Cup earlier this season and is part of the GB Men’s Elite Development Programme for potential Tokyo 2020 Olympians.
The visit to Ireland is taking place from March 28-31.
