04 January 2019

Sky Bet League Two side Bury became the latest football club to train at the University of Bath when they visited today.

The Shakers used the outdoor playing pitches to prepare for their league visit to nearby Yeovil Town on Saturday.

Several football clubs have taken the opportunity to train at the University in recent years including Barnsley, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Oldham Athletic, Aldershot Town and Partick Thistle.

The FA Premier League also use the University’s Sports Training Village as an annual location for their Elite Coach Apprentice Scheme (ECAS) development programme get-together.
