Enjoy nature and the beauty of Bath with these guided walking routes around our home city

10 May 2021

‘Connecting with nature’ is the theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place from May 10-16, and we are fortunate to be surrounded by both rural and urban beauty in our home city of Bath.

There are many green spaces to explore in and around the city, particularly around the University of Bath‘s Claverton Down campus, and enjoying quiet time amongst nature in the countryside, a park or garden can help provide a sense of calm and relaxation.

Exercising outdoors is particularly good for lifting spirits, so coaches with the British Triathlon squad based at the University have put together some running and walking routes around Bath of varying distances and inclines. All start and finish on campus and are easy to follow via a smartphone using the links below.
