University of Bath claims Varsity spoils for fantastic fifth year as thousands of spectators enjoy action-packed day of student sport

More than 4,000 spectators enjoyed an action-packed day of student sport at the Team Bath Sports Training Village when the University of Bath took on Cardiff Met University in the long-awaited return of Varsity.
And the hosts made it five wins in a row as they beat their opposition from Wales 63-27 overall after 17 matches were played across 10 sports in the first Varsity fixture since 2019.
