Parkour World Champion Bohdan Kolmakov treats crowd to daredevil display of gravity-defying sport during University of Bath visit
Former World Champion Bohdan Kolmakov transformed the University of Bath campus into an urban obstacle course when he treated students and staff to a daredevil display of Parkour.
Kolmakov leapt from balconies, vaulted over railings, traversed narrow beams and wowed a large crowd with aerial flips from great heights during an exhilarating demonstration of the gravity-defying sport.
The event took place outside the library on The Parade and was part of a week-long visit to the South West by Kolmakov that was arranged by Friends of Oleksandriya, a charitable association that promotes friendship between Bath and North East Somerset and Oleksandriya and surrounding villages in Ukraine.
Kolmakov – the 2022 World Champion and World Games gold-medallist – also staged workshops for young people at Baskervilles School of Gymnastics during his time in Bath.
