Team Bath Tennis ace Alicia Barnett ready to make more Wimbledon memories on world-famous grass courts
Team Bath Tennis star Alicia Barnett, a two-time Wimbledon quarter-finalist, is returning to SW19 for a fourth successive year.
She is contesting the ladies’ doubles with fellow Brit Eden Silva and the duo will begin their tournament on Wednesday 2nd July against Colombia’s Camila Osorio and Alycia Parks of the United States.
Barnett will also find out on Wednesday whether she will be contesting the mixed doubles with Marcus Willis, the pair having reached the quarter-finals last year.
Before the tournament, Barnett – coached by Ian MacDonald and Tiernan Brady at the University of Bath – spoke to BBC Points West reporter Ali Durden on Centre Court. Click here to watch the interview (starts at 19mins 19secs).
