Magnificent seventh Trampoline World Champs sees Bath alumna Kirsty Way win three medals including first solo podium place
University of Bath alumna Kirsty Way is celebrating the first individual World Championships medal of an excellent career representing British Gymnastics in Double Mini Trampoline.

Way, who was supported by a King Sports Scholarship while studying Sport and Exercise Science, recorded a personal best score on her way to the women’s final where another superb routine saw her rank third overall.
“It was an incredible experience,” said Way, who was competing at her seventh Trampoline World Championships. “This group of girls are so good and I knew I needed to do the pass of my life to get through to the second final and I did it, I managed a PB so I just had to finish off the job in that second run, which I managed and I finally got my medal!”
Way added to that brilliant bronze with silver in the Women’s Team DMT, alongside Kim Beattie and Molly McKenna, and another bronze in the Team All-Around event on the final day of competition in Pamplona, Spain.
