Team Bath Buccaneers players help England Boys make winning start to 2018 EuroHockey Youth Championships
Team Bath Buccaneers duo Louis Wrenn and Stuart Rushmere are both playing for the England Hockey U18 Boys squad at the 2018 EuroHockey Youth Championships in Santander, Spain.
Rushmere was on target twice as an England side, coached by Team Bath Head Hockey Coach Jody Paul, began the tournament with a 7-0 win over Poland on Sunday.
England will also play Pool A matches against Germany on Tuesday and host country Spain on Wednesday, looking to qualify for Friday’s semi-finals. The final will take place on Saturday.
Wrenn and Rushmere go to Millfield School in Somerset, which Team Bath Buccaneers have a partnership with, and play for the Buccs men’s 1st XI in the England Hockey League Conference West.
