Double Olympian Gemma Howell returned to her former University of Bath training base this week to run a masterclass for talented young judoka from across the South West of England.

Howell, who represented Team GB at both London 2012 and Tokyo 2020, went back to the dojo at the Team Bath Sports Training Village on Tuesday to lead an inspirational session for judoka accessing the England Talent Development Centre hub hosted by Team Bath Judo.

The visit was part of the British Judo Tokyo Olympic Roadshow and Howell, who trained at Team Bath from 2012 to 2016 and combined judo with studying Sport & Exercise Science, tweeted: “Loved going back to my favourite city and the best uni in the world.”
