Lisa Pagett has already had a huge impact on the growth of women’s cricket across the South West of England – now she is looking to do the same with netball after joining Team Bath as interim Netball Manager.

Pagett has been extensively involved in sport since graduating from the University of Bath in Coach Education & Sports Development in 2007, most notably in the development of women’s cricket in the West of England and Wales.

She worked for the Gloucestershire Cricket Board in a number of roles, including Women and Girls Development Officer, and was most recently Regional Director of Women’s Cricket (South West and Wales) for Western Storm having been a key member of the club since its inception in 2016.

Pagett has now joined Team Bath Netball as maternity cover for Emily Siddy and will oversee the Blue & Gold during their first season in the inaugural NXT Gen League, as well as work with Academy Head Coach Natalie Roddy on developing the club’s Player Pathway.

“I am absolutely delighted to be joining Team Bath Netball at such an exciting and pivotal moment in its journey,” said Pagett.

“I am deeply passionate about the growth of women’s sport in the South West and am thrilled to have the opportunity to help drive the development of netball in the area, and contribute towards the long-term aspirations of bringing elite netball back to the region.

“Team Bath’s incredible legacy in the sport is truly inspiring, and I’m eager to build on the fantastic work achieved by the team in recent months – ensuring that both the netball community in the region continues to thrive and that fans continue to be inspired and entertained by the athletes within the Team Bath programmes.

“As a proud former student of the University of Bath, I’m excited to return to a high-performance environment that has always felt like home and contribute to its continued success.”

Final preparations are currently being made for the 2025 NXT Gen League campaign, which begins in four weeks’ time with a home fixture against Nottingham Forest (Friday 7th February, 7pm centre-pass).

That is the first of three successive Friday-night home matches at the Team Bath Arena, followed by visits from Cardiff Dragons on 14th February and London Pulse on 21st February, and tickets are on sale now at netball.teambath.com/tickets.
