22 June 2026

Ranjuo Tomblin struck gold in all four of his events at the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup Super Final as the University of Bath sporting scholar capped a magnificent campaign in stunning style.

The Sports Performance student, supported by a Trendell Scholarship, went to Toronto, Canada in excellent form having already won 13 medals, eight of them gold, from the previous four World Cup stops during 2026.

He took his performances to another level again, recording new personal bests in both men’s solo events – 249.2033 in the technical and 255.9600 in the free – to secure the gold medals.

Tomblin and mixed duet partner Izzy Thorpe then demonstrated why they have been this year’s dominant pairing by claiming top spot in both the technical (224.3934) and free (264.3033) competitions.

Next up for Tomblin is the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, with the artistic swimming taking place from 31st July to 5th August.

“It feels very good to have put out the performances we have and we’re happy with the improvements we’re making, which is really important heading towards the Europeans,” Tomblin told World Aquatics.
