Darren Atkins has followed fellow University of Bath student Josh Bayliss in signing a new contract with Bath Rugby that will see him step up into the Premiership club’s senior squad for the 2018-19 season. The talented full-back, who has represented the University men’s 1st XV in BUCS Super Rugby, is one of a number of Bath Rugby Academy players who combine training and playing for the Blue, Black & White with studying Sports Performance....

Brilliant Buccs reach Jaffa Super 6s indoor hockey final during unforgettable day at Copper Box Arena

Team Bath Buccaneers Hockey Club achieved their best-ever Jaffa Super 6s result as the men’s team finished runners-up in the national indoor competition. National Centre Bath trio win eight medals at Luxembourg Euro Swim Meet

University of Bath-based swimmers Jazz Carlin, James Guy and Chris Walker-Hebborn won eight medals between them at the Luxembourg Euro Meet over the weekend. Guy, coached by Jol Finck at the British Swimming National Centre Bath, struck gold in both the 200m freestyle (1:47.97) and 100m butterfly (52.31). Tough test but invaluable experience for Pentathlon GB juniors at Budapest International Competition

University of Bath students Charlie Follett and Georgia Hannam gained invaluable international experience when they were among five Pentathlon GB athletes to reach the finals of the Budapest Indoor Competition in Hungary.
