University of Bath graduate Marilyn Okoro is set to receive an Olympic medal as a result of retrospective drugs tests for athletes competing at the Beijing 2008 Games. Okoro was part of the Great Britain women’s 4x400m relay team that finished fifth in that year’s final, along with Christine Ohuruogu, Kelly Sotherton and Nicola Sanders.
