The England men’s rugby team have completed their first training session at the University of Bath as they begin their preparations for the RBS Six Nations match against Wales on Saturday, March 12 at Twickenham Stadium. University of Bath-based sprinter Andy Robertson has been rewarded for his medal-winning performance at the Indoor British Championships by being selected for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland, USA. University of Bath graduate Alexandra Rickham says she “couldn’t be happier” after being named in the ParalympicsGB sailing squad for this summer’s Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Team Bath judoka Jan Gosiewski and Gary Hall (pictured left) gained valuable Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualification points with fifth-placed finishes at last weekend’s Prague European Open.
