Bill Whiteley Scholarship

Scholarships available (per annum): Two

The successful applicant will receive:

• Up to £5,000 scholarship per year for up to four years of study;
• No scholarship is payable during a placement period.

Eligibility criteria for the Bill Whiteley Sport Scholarship (campus-based courses) Applicants must:

• • be an eligible UK student;
  • be registered on a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course of at least three years in the School of Management, Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Science or Department of Economics;
  • be a first year undergraduate;
  • currently be recognised as an elite athlete within any sport;
  • have the ability to represent the University; contribute to and/or win University National titles and have the potential to make a positive impact on the University’s sports standing;
  • have a recommendation from a University of Bath coach, home coach or NGB official/coach (applications which only state a coach’s email without a full supporting statement may not be considered).
