Team Bath bowed out of football history today with their last Blue Square Conference South match after a ten year period described by manager, Ged Roddy, as “an incredible journey”.
“I wouldn’t have missed any of it”, said Roddy. “There have been some incredible high points, including our moment of making FA Cup history as the first University side in 122 years to reach the first round proper of the FA Cup back in 2002?.
“Literally hundreds of lads have pulled on the blue and gold shirt in those years and played with pride. I would like to thank each and every one of you”.
